Toradol Shot

The injection itself takes under a minute. Budget about 30 minutes for the visit: your nurse reviews your health screening, confirms there is nothing that would make the shot unsafe, gives the injection, and stays with you for 15 minutes afterward to make sure you feel well.

Most people describe a brief pinch and some pressure. Shots go into the shoulder (deltoid) or the side of the hip. B12 and NAD+ can also be given just under the skin, in the belly, outer thigh or upper arm. Mild soreness at the site for a day afterward is normal and settles on its own.

An IV delivers a larger dose directly into the bloodstream over an hour or more. A shot puts a smaller dose into muscle (or, for B12 and NAD+, just under the skin), where it absorbs over the following hours. The shot is faster and costs less; the drip delivers more and rehydrates you at the same time.

It depends on the injectable and on you. B12 is often taken weekly or monthly; others are less frequent. Your nurse will talk through a sensible interval, and lab work is the honest way to know whether you need a given vitamin at all.

Yes. Every shot is available as an add-on during any IV visit, and it costs less that way than a shot-only visit, because the nurse is already with you. It adds no meaningful time to the appointment.

Anyone with a known allergy to the ingredient, and anyone pregnant or breastfeeding should tell us before booking. Your nurse screens you at the visit and will not proceed if something on that screening says otherwise.

This package is generally well-suited for healthy adults. Certain conditions (including uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, or early pregnancy) may require your physician's clearance first. Your nurse will screen for these before starting treatment, and the visit will be adjusted or rescheduled if needed.
