What to expect during your visit

Your nurse will start with a brief health screening (vitals, medical history, and current medications) before setting up your IV. Most visits run 60 to 90 minutes, including a short observation period after your infusion finishes.

Certain conditions (including uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, or early pregnancy) may require your physician's clearance first.
