Compression Therapy
Inflatable sleeves that apply rhythmic pressure to the legs during your visit.
What it is
Compression therapy uses sleeves that inflate and deflate in sequence along the limb, applying gentle rhythmic pressure. It is a mechanical add-on rather than anything given into the body, and it runs during your infusion, so it adds no time to the appointment.
The system is a pair of leg sleeves, each divided into air chambers, connected to a small pump. The chambers fill one after another starting at the foot, hold for a moment, then release, so the squeeze travels up the leg in a wave. The cycle repeats for as long as the session runs.
Devices like this are a familiar part of sports recovery routines. Ours is a recovery add-on, not a medical treatment: we don't use it to treat swelling, circulation problems or any other condition.
What it is used for
- Applies intermittent external pressure to the legs
- Commonly used by athletes as part of a post-training routine
- Frequently chosen alongside a recovery-focused drip
- Included in The Recovery Package and Premium NAD+
How we give it
Sleeves are fitted at the start of your visit and run through the infusion. You stay seated or lying down throughout.
Your nurse sets the pressure. You can ask for it lighter, or stopped, at any time.
Good to know
Should it hurt?
No. It should feel like firm, moving pressure: a squeeze that travels up the leg. Pain, pins and needles, or numbness mean the pressure is too high or the fit is wrong. Say so and your nurse will adjust or remove it.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing. The sleeves go around your legs, so tight jeans or tall boots get in the way.
Can I add it to any visit?
Yes. It comes with The Recovery Package and Premium NAD+, and you can add it to any other drip.
